Homemade Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 4 cups of water

Instructions

  • Squeeze lemon into a cup
  • Add the water and sugar into the cup and mix it
  • Enjoy it under the sun with a relaxing book

 

Orange Banana Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 2 peeled oranges
  • 1 banana
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 8 ounces fat free vanilla yogurt
  • 4 ice cubes

Instructions

  • Place the milk, oranges, banana, sugar, salt and yogurt in the blender and blend for a minute
  • Insert ice cubes and blend again
  • Pour into a glass
  • Optional: add cute little umbrella

 

Hibiscus Water

Ingredients

  • 10 cups water
  • 2 cups dried hibiscus petals
  • 3/4 cup of sugar

Instructions

  • Place dried hibiscus petals and water in a pot and leave the stove on until it boils
  • Lower the amount of heat and leave the pot on the stove for 10 more minutes
  • Let the combination cool
  • Put the pot’s contents in a strainer
  • Sweeten with the sugar
  • Drink once it is cool

 

Homemade Ice Pops

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and bananas mixed
  • 2 cups plain or vanilla yogurt
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 8 small paper cups
  • 8 popsicle sticks

Instructions

  • Blend mixed blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, sliced bananas, yogurt, and sugar
  • Fill paper cups 3/4 of the way with the blender’s contents
  • Cover the top of each cup with aluminum foil
  • Poke a popsicle stick through the center of the aluminum foil
  • Place in freezer for at least 5 hours
  • Peel paper cup, remove foil, and enjoy
