Even though I thought I would be prepared for my experience out in the desert, I couldn’t have been more wrong. Always expect the unexpected and learn from my mistakes and know this will be very helpful. Here is a list of the materials you’ll need to bring with you in order to have a great time.
Tent
Sleeping bag
Extra blankets (it gets cold at night in the desert)
Sleeping pad
3 bundles of firewood (can never have too much firewood)
Fire starters
Matches
Clothing for heat of the day and cold of the night
Canteen or bottles of water
Alcohol (trust me, anything to keep warm)
Food – make sure to protect it because sand gets everywhere!

Speakers (always helps to liven up the outdoors)
