Be charmed by a concert of seasonal music presented by the University Choir and University Singers, University Women’s Choir, University Men’s Choir, and the Chapman University Chamber Orchestra.
Location: George Bush Conference Center, Beckman Hall and Merle and Marjorie Fish Interfaith Center
Time: 6 p.m.
Cost: $65 per person, including reception, dinner and concert.

Orange County Youth Symphony Orchestra Concert
Daniel Alfred Wachs, Music Director and Conductor
The Orange County Youth Symphony Orchestra celebrates its 39th season-opening concert under the direction of its new music director, Daniel Alfred Wachs, in a program titled “The Case of the Missing Pipe.” The program includes music by Richard Strauss, Bach-Stokowski, Franck, Saint-Saens and Gershwin.
Where: Chapman Auditorium, Memorial Hall
Time: 4p.m.
Cost: $10 general admission; $5 senior citizens and students

Instrumental Chamber Music
Robert Becker, Director
The Instrumental Chamber Music concert will include combinations of brass, woodwinds, piano and string chamber music, and string quartets. Works will include Schumann’s Piano Quintet, Schubert’s “Death and the Maiden” String Quartet, Brahms Opus 60 c minor Piano Quartet, Mozart’s “Kegellstaat” Trio, interesting brass chamber music from the Renaissance period and more. This concert is prepared under the direction and coaching of Professor Robert Becker, Director of String Studies; Professor Grace Fong, Director of Keyboard Studies; and the adjunct wind faculty of the Conservatory of Music.
