Tips on getting an on-campus job

By Zian Ang

Jacob Walker: If you’re interested in anything on campus, don’t be afraid to ask if they are looking for someone to hire. If you like somewhere on campus in particular, or a certain group of people, look into joining them!

Alvin Ly: Try to find a job that’s related to your interests, since there are many available. Try to follow up on your job applications in person so that they will have a face to go with the name on the application.

Tayler Bonfert: Trying to make personal contact and meeting in person really sets someone apart when applying to on campus jobs, and just being confident and displaying how qualified or useful you are within your resume.

Luke Piscitello: Be nice, be real, be cute, be you. It also helps to know someone that already works on campus as a reference.
