Many studies have been conducted to dictate the effect of processed vs. fresh or organic food on the human body. In this video, you can see for yourself the breakdown of these different foods during digestion. Shockingly, processed ramen noodles verses fresh pasta takes hours longer to digest and break down. On top of that, with little to no nutritional benefit, it’s apparent that the ramen noodle’s main objective is above anything else to last and not go bad for years, and it throws all potential nutritional value to the side in order to achieve this. Is it worth eating a highly processed meal because it’s easy and fast even if it has side effects and health detriments?
