The Best Booze for Your Buck

Story by Nicole Mormann

Orange County is already an expensive place to live. If gas isn’t costing a pretty penny, then certainly everything else from Brandy Melville merchandise to a meal at Lemonade is. So when the weekend rolls around after a long week of classes, internships, and part-time jobs, students want the cheapest alcohol they can find that they can stomach. Here are some college budget friendly options to give you the best booze for your buck:

Goat Hill Tavern:

$7 Rolling Rock pitchers

$2.75 mug & $10 pitchers of domestics

Dave & Busters:

½ cocktails and $2.50 domestic pints (only Monday-Friday from 4:30 – 7 p.m.)

Joe’s Crab Shack:

$2 drinks & $2 bites (every Tuesday)

Trader Joe’s:

A bottle of Charles Shaw wine costs around $3. Ace Hard Pear Cider costs around $3 as well.
