Eating in Orange

If you feel like swapping junk food for a healthy snack, juice or meal today, below is a list of healthy restaurants that are not too far from campus.

Growl Juice pub is an excellent place to grab something delicious and healthy. With items including fresh pressed juices, wheatgrass shots, smoothies and acai bowls, it is the perfect spot to go after a workout. With outdoor seating and a fun ambience, it is a great place to take friends and hangout on a sunny day.

Mead’s Green Door Café is a vegetarian café, which offers delicious, creative cuisine, as well as baked goods and juices. Just outside of the circle, it is more of a breakfast or lunch spot. Filled with unique and quirky artwork, it is a nice place to take some books and study, or talk with colleagues or friends.

Rutabegorz is very close to campus. Boasting 40 years of setting the standard for health conscious eating in Orange County, it has an extensive menu with lots of delicious items. Open for breakfast and dinner, this charming spot is a great place to go anytime and take guests who are visiting the area.
